Meyersdale is a borough in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, on the Casselman River, 73 miles southeast of Pittsburgh. In the past, its chief industry was the mining of coal. Meyersdale was first settled as early as 1776, but the growth of the town dates from the advent of the first railroad in 1871. 

 

Home of the Maple Festival and only 15 minutes from Mt. Davis, the highest point in Pennsylvania, Meyersdale offers an incredible number of site seeing destinations.  Flight 93 National Memorial, Frank Lloyd Wrights Falling Waters and Kentuck Knob, The Miners Museum, Seven Springs, Hidden Valley, and Deep Creek Wisp plus two different casinos are all located within 30-45 minutes of the Inn.
